The British boxer prepares to battle the American YouTuber in an eight round contest which will be streamed in real-time on the streaming platform.
Briton Anthony Joshua declared he will "dominate completely" the American and "overpower" his opponent as the pair met personally to publicize next month's boxing match.
Former two time unified boxing king Anthony Joshua faces social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, on paper, a massive uneven pairing - at Miami Kaseya Center on 19 December.
Boxer's Attitude
"I will break his face and hurt his body. I aim to demonstrate I'm superior," the British boxer, 35 years old, declared.
"I will dominate him completely. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I'm going to really want to cause him pain. That's what I want to do."
Civil Exchange
Despite these statements, a relaxed Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - usually recognized for his dramatics - exchanged pleasantries and remained civil with each other.
Paul instead criticized ex Joshua's rival Francis Ngannou and labeled him "a joke" after Ngannou declined a match opportunity.
Targeting Tyson Fury
Joshua, at the same time, took aim at UK rival Fury - and refused a million-pound wager 'Tyson Fury' states he will put on a Paul win.
"Jake Paul outshines Tyson Fury - he showed up," Joshua said.
"I give him credit for that."
Serious Opponent
In spite of stating he plans to hurt Jake Paul, Joshua chose not to talk badly about his opponent's fighting skills.
"Jake is a legitimate boxer," he remarked.
Jake Paul's Background
Jake Paul - who originally gained popularity on the Disney Channel - has mainly boxed mixed martial artists or faded names since turning professional.
He lost to British fighter Fury in 2023.
Commercial Attraction
Still, the relative newcomer is still one of the sport's greatest commercial attractions, regularly earning substantial financial rewards.
Forecast and Confidence
The 28 year old forecast a knockout win in round four or five and stated he would stop the much-anticipated Fury-Joshua bout, which is apparently under discussion for 2026.
"It will be me versus Tyson Fury next year," Jake Paul stated.
Physical Disparity
As Joshua and Paul participated in the customary stare-down, with their size difference clearly visible, it highlighted just how unlikely this whole event is - and how remarkable it is that the bout is actually going ahead.
