Zelenskyy Meets with Defenders in the Vicinity of Heavily Contested Pokrovsk
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy made a trip to meet with Ukrainian forces in the Pokrovsk area on the start of the week. The president confirmed that he consulted warriors at the military base of the 1st Corps of the Ukrainian National Guard Azov, which is conducting a defensive operation in the Dobropillya sector, an urban center approximately a short distance from Pokrovsk.
Intense Situation in the Region
Updated analysis from a national effort revealed that opposition armies had pushed further into the city and surrounding areas, though much of it remained beyond firm control by both forces. The conditions are severe, with accounts indicating that Russian forces were establishing defenses and building up positions in certain areas.
Invading troops are pushing forward in the Pokrovsk direction and seem to be functioning with increasing comfort within urban Pokrovsk.
Military experts noted that national troops had freed a large area of a enemy advance in the Dobropillya direction, on the east side of the Pokrovsk operation.
National Drone Strikes Deep Inside the Federation
National unmanned aircraft attacked an industrial plant approximately over 800 miles inside Russia at Sterlitamak. Regional authorities announced a detonation at the Sterlitamak Petrochemical Plant that led to the partial collapse to suffer damage, adding that the origin of the detonation was not known. The national defense command stated there was considerable damage to the plant.
Defense units reported hitting a Lukoil oil refinery at the city in the federal district to the east of the capital. The extent of the damage was under evaluation. The territorial leader verified an assault by 20 drones near the refinery.
